VIETNAM SHOOT UPDATE :- **GEAR AND CLOTHING**

Ok guys, so the gear and clothing requirements are as follows - now ultimately i wont tell you not to turn up in modern gear and clothing, but the closer to the colours and styles the more fun and realistic we can make it. Remember, the more effort you put in the more enjoyment you'll get out of it....

American Forces
Must be in full combat uniform. I.e your collar match's your cuffs. It doesnt matter what it is as long as you match. OR are in american themed dress for the period etc (preferred to make you look cool as foooook)

VC
Must not match or be in full combat uniform. I.e no matching tops and bottoms please (black pyjamas and Straw hats are encouraged) :D

Radios
Radios are encouraged to help you build up a picture of whats happening during the day. However you will not be allowed to use a headset for the duration of the shoot. (I repeat NO Headsets) They didnt use headsets in 'nam so we wont do that here! :D

If you're stuck for what to wear, just google vietnam war and have a shufty through the pictures

OPERATION: TIGER HOUND

13th May 1965

The Vietnam war rages on.

Deep in the foot hills of the Ho-Chi-Minh Trail lies a Vietcong controlled area known only as "La Coverts" used as an operating base for transporting men and supplies into South Vietnam's Military Region I

This operating base must be destroyed and all NVA/Vietcong operatives eliminated in order for a full scale U.S. attack on the rest of the Ho-Chi-Minh Trail.

The U.S. 2nd Air Division have been attempting to distinguish the exact route and location of the supply lines however have met fierce resistance.

President Nixon has ordered an elite unit of the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade to be dropped into the Ho-Chi-Minh Trail with orders to find and destroy ALL hostile forces.

The NVA regiment "Group 539" is currently patroling the Ho-Chi-Minh Trail and have been told to expect a mass airdrop of U.S. troops imminently. Keeping the trail open will secure victory for the NVA and will make America rethink its foreign policy on Vietnam.

Loose the trail and the Americans will surely win the war....
